eSync.NET is a tool that synchronizes files between directories. Who needs
this? Well, everyone who works with more than one computer!
eSync.NET is the ideal tool for you if you want:
- synchronize the company's laptop with your desktop computer before going
to meet a customer
- synchronize the sources on your laptop to your desktop computer to merge
the changes you hacked in while driving to work
- synchronize your MP3 collection with the one of your friend he brought to
you on a USB harddisk
- back up your documents and personal settings to a network drive or
external harddisk

- User defined context menu entries are only shown if both files are
existing.
- In the "Paths to synchronize" dialgo an "update" button has been added.
- One user defined context menu entry can be configured to be executed
automatically with a double-click on the different files.

With this release this piece of software is almost finished. This means that
I now need your ideas what can be improved!
- Files with certain extensions can be excluded from synchronization.
- Context menu can start external application (e.g. compare tool, WinMerge
and ExamDiff are automaticaly recognised).
- Bug in checking file extensions fixed.
- Icons in menus.
2005-12-15: New version 1.0.6 released
- Ported to Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, Windows XP like GUI.
- Sort column and order is saved in the registry. Bugfix regarding column
orders.
- Wildcards for file extensions are now fully supported.
- Various code optimisations and refactoring, use of generic collections, a
lot of comment added.
- Online help added, try F1.
2005-08-25: New
version 1.0.5 released
- New column "Destination path".
- Some columns can be hidden.
- Column widhts are saved to the registry.
- List can be sorted by clicking on a column header.
Other features:
- Support of multiple source/destination directories that should be
synchronized.
- Many filter options like file extensions or file attributes.
- All actions can be logged to a file.
- All settings can be saved in jobfile.
- A previously saved job can be run by doubleclicking the jobfile in windows
exlorer.
